DERT is currently working through it’s collaborative studio program to develop a new line of book products. These efforts are part of DERT’s mission to create new models of book selling that energize readers and enhance literacy in communities. DERT is working with students from The Art Institute of New York City to create designer book bundles that take used hard covered classics and repackages them with one-of-a-kind designed dust jackets. Student designers are developing visual concepts that connect classic books into themes that are illustrated through paper dust jackets as well as book marks, t-shirts and posters.

DERT is developing a line of DERT Bags that will feature designer book bundles that will be auctioned this Spring in a fundraising effort designed to raise money to help fund the efforts of a literacy based charity. Watch for more details to come!
