Description

This DERT book was designed by Ingrid Bonetti, a graphic design student from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ingrid was a member of the Spring 2018 design team from Parsons The School of Design. Ingrid’s concept is to bring this Mother Goose story to older kids and young adults. Ingrid has taken a beautifully minimal approach using color and simple line drawings that are inspired by icons and info graphics.

This 52-page paperback is part of a social venture project to spread literacy to families in underserved communities. DERT works with emerging designers to create unique, customized books. Each DERT book features the design and conceptual artwork created by graphic design students. With each purchase, proceeds from the sale are donated to help support the cause of early childhood literacy.
