Proceeds from the sale of this book help fund the donation of our specially designed children’s books to barbershops in at-risk communities nationwide. The book was designed by Ahana Seth, a communication design student from New Delhi, India. Ahana gives a modern touch to the Norwegian fairy tale “Three Billy Goats Gruff.” Her fully illustrated storybook features easy to read along text with simple and friendly illustrations that takes a fun approach to how these clever goats outsmart the bullying of the not so scary troll. Sing along songs are featured throughout the story making this a fun book to read together over and over with pre-school aged children.
This 152-page paperback is part of a social venture project to spread literacy to families in underserved communities. DERT works with emerging designers to create unique, customized books. Each DERT book features the design and conceptual artwork created by graphic design students. With each purchase, proceeds from the sale are donated to help support the cause of early childhood literacy.
