The Holi Day is a children’s book based on the Hindu festival of colors. It follows Asha, a young girl ready to paint the town with color until there’s none left. Ultimately, the story is about religious and cultural harmony during an auspicious festival time. Designed and illustrated by Malavika Srinivasan.

Proceeds from the sale of this book help fund the donation of our specially designed children’s books to barbershops in at-risk communities nationwide. DERT’s social mission is to ensure that all children identify as readers by having access to books and being read to on a regular basis.
