STORIES

We did it!

As our Kickstarter campaign closed on June 29, we were happy to see that not only did we meet our goal of 9,000 dollars but exceeded it and raised over 10,000 dollars. Thanks to the help of our friends, family and fans, and above all our 95 generous backers, we will be able to continue our efforts of spreading literacy in communities all around the country.

With the money raised, we will be able to print 1,000 pieces each of The Little Letter Book and The Little Number Book. We will also produce Kickstarter rewards and use the money to ship the books and rewards to all backers who made the books possible. The books remaining will be available for purchase on our website with all profits being donated to Parent-Child Home Program.

DERT would like to thank everyone who contributed to our Kickstarter by spreading the word of our campaign or helped by funding our Little Books. Thank you for joining us on our mission for social good.

About The Little Books
The Little Letter Book and The Little Number Book were designed with the ambition of introducing toddlers to the experience of reading, as well as creating educational books that help families engage together to start the journey of letters and numbers and help kids prepare for school. The Little Number Book and The Little Letter Book stand out for being both bold and simple at the same time – while always maintaining a sense of fun and inclusion. Sage uses fun, clean, and bright designs to encourage children to interact with what they are reading. The characters in the books are intentionally illustrated to not look like any certain kind of person, race or gender, so that any child can identify with the imaginary friends in the books.
